Google Inc. Currently Mussie works at Google Inc. on their newly announced OpenSocial project.
Zingku Inc. Previously he co-founded a company, Zingku, that developed mobile social services connecting people across the boundries of mobile, IM, email, and the web. The company was acquired by Google Inc. in 2007.
Kubi Software. Mussie was Vice President of Product Management and Design – Kubi Software. In this capacity, Mussie oversaw all aspects of product design.
McKinsey & Company. Before joining Kubi Software, Mussie was Chief Technology Officer, Knowledge Services for the global consulting firm McKinsey & Company. He played a leadership role in designing and building McKinsey's worldwide knowledge system, and a consulting role in a diverse range of McKinsey projects and client engagements.
Lotus Development. Previously, while at Lotus Development Corp., Mussie was group leader and inventor of the Web-based collaboration product Lotus QuickPlace.
Mussie played a leading role in the product feature definition and user-interface design of Lotus Notes, during its period of explosive growth from a few hundred thousand to 50 million users. Additonally, as product designer at Lotus, Mussie held the post of chief designer where he led a cross organizational approach to common user interface throughout Lotus’ product line. He holds multiple patents for work done on behalf of IBM/Lotus.
